Police Declare 21-Year-Old Woman Wanted After Her Baby Was Found Abandoned At Railway Station In South Africa

The woman is believed to be in the Mfuleni area, whilst the investigating officer is also following up on information that she might be in hiding near Langa.

A 21-year-old mother identified as Lisa Xala has been declared wanted by the Bellville Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences (FCS) unit in Western Cape, South Africa in Mfuleni.

According to a statement issued by the police on Monday, July 26, a 15-month-old baby was found abandoned at the Bellville Railway Station on Sunday, 11 July 2021 at about 16:00 by a security guard.

The baby was taken to Bellville SAPS, where a case of Child Abandonment was registered for further investigation. The mentioned person of interest is believed to be in the Mfuleni area, whilst the investigating officer is also following up on information that she might be in hiding near Langa.

The police statement urged anyone who can assist with information that will lead to locating Lisa,o call Detective Warrant Officer Jaftha.

Half helmets offer no protection for you if you face-plant the tarmac. Goodbye teeth. You can pick up a full helmet online. Wear jeans when riding, these will at least offer a small amount of skid protection. And find a cheap denim or leather jacket at one of the markets or export shops. While this offers no impact protection, if you ever fall off, you’ll be grateful for the few layers between you and the asphalt.
